Changes to paid parking to come into effect at Navan Hospital

The paid parking system at Our Lady's Hospital, Navan is changing with the pay and display system moving to a barrier system

Drivers will now take a ticket upon entry to the Hospital carpark and then pay at one of three pay stations before returning to their vehicle, and then use the ticket to exit.

This will replace the system of tickets being displayed in windscreens.

In a statement the HSE said the new changes to parking payment procedures would come into effect next Monday 16th June

"The Hospital is transitioning from a Pay and Display system to a Pay on Foot/Barrier System in the main hospital car park. There are some spaces outside of the main hospital carpark near the road which will be outside the barrier and will remain pay and display for which people can still use the Apcoa App."

"Drivers will now take a ticket upon entry, pay at one of three pay stations before returning to their vehicle, and then use the ticket to exit. Payment options include cash or card at the following locations:

· Main Hospital Entrance

· Emergency Department Entrance

· Lobby at the Regional Orthopaedic Unit

Current parking rates remain unchanged with the new system: *

€1.00 = 1 hour or part thereof

€4.00 = 5 hours

€8.00 = 12 hours

€10.00 = 24 hours

A 15-minute grace period will continue to facilitate drop-off and collection. ’
