ILB Div 1: Following their 1-6 away defeat to Railway Union in the previous round, Meath team again travelled away and secured an important victory against Skerries, winning 7-0 (79-47 shots). Senior ILB (Irish Lawn Bowls) Championships. Meath players are still involved in Singles, Pairs, Trips, Rinks (Fours) and Over 55 Rinks.

MEATH LSP

Summer on the Beach: Action packed summer of beach activity. A variety of beach activity days, there is something for everyone. This year Meath LSP coaches and tutors will be joined by development officers from the FAI, Olympic Handball Ireland, Volleyball Ireland and Leister Rugby. Events will also include open water swimming, Kite flying, Pétanque, Cornhole, Walk n Wade, Beach Yoga.

• Teen Beach Sports (suitable for young people aged 13 -17)– 24th June at 1pm – 3pm

• Children’s Beach Sports (Suitable for children aged 8 – 12) – 22nd July at 11am -1pm

• Adults 50+ Beach Activity Morning – 2nd July at 11am -1pm

Youth Swimming programme, Kells Swimming Pool. This four week programme is for young people aged 13-17 years who are not doing exams. This programme is centered around fun, while developing swimming skills, technique and breathing in the water.
