Nobber ladies into final

Nobber's first adult LGFA team in almost 40 years has got off to a flying start in their first season to reach the division 9 Junior Final this weekend. They play St Vincent's/Curraha, managed by former Meath Ladies Manager Eamon Murray, in Ardcath on Saturday, 17th May at 6.30pm. The newly formed Nobber junior team comes on the back of the introduction of LGFA at underage level in the north Meath Club in recent years with several of the players on junior team coming up through juvenile ranks. Two years ago, a mother and others team was also set up with about ten members of that team making the move back into competitive football.
