Navan Choral Festival underway

The annual Navan Choral Festival is underway in the town, with the piano, solo singing, and solo and emsemble instrumental competitions having taken place over the May bank holiday weekend.

The competitions continue this week with primary school choral competitions on Wednesday, post primary school choral competitions on Thursday, the newly introduced youth choral competitions on Saturday, and on Sunday, the adult choral competitions and concluding National Choir of the Year Competition.

The choral festival was first run in the town in 1979.
