Woman arrested on suspicion of murder of missing Drogheda boy Kyran Durnin (8)

A woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of missing eight-year-old Drogheda schoolboy Kyran Durnin.

The woman is being detained under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in the East of the Country.

Kyran was reported missing in August of this year but gardaí believe he could have been killed two years ago.

He was last seen alive in May 2022 when he was six years old.
