Meath Style Awards: Meet the winner for Best Make Up Artist

Marina O'Callaghan from Stylicious, Ratoath took home the award for Best Make Up Artist at the Meath Style Awards 2024.

"I am totally shocked and absolutely delighted. Obviously the last couple of years have been really building up on the business side of it. It just means that I've been working so hard. My clients are really happy and my business is growing", says Marina after her win.

After many years in working in IT and Insurance, Marina O’Callaghan took the leap and turned her passion for makeup, skin and creativity into her dream job. While based in Ratoath, Marina is a freelance artist who will travel to clients on their special day.

After years of training and finding her style and niche, she now specialises in Bridal and Occasion Makeup and styling - being part of one of the most important days in a girl’s life is so special, creating bespoke looks to reflect a Bride’s own personal style and personality, bringing their bridal vision to life so they are the best version of themselves.

"I will always chat with a client in advance and get a feel for who they are and their own personal style. The look I create for a client is bespoke and unique to them. I have many clients who would rarely wear makeup so I will work with them to ensure we get it just right", says Marina.
