Three changes for Meath as Louth challenge looms

Cillian O'Sullivan and Ronan Ryan come in for their first starts of the year as Colm O'Rourke makes three changes for Saturday's All-Ireland SFC round one clash with Louth in Inniskeen, 5.30pm.

Ryan missed the entire NFL campaign after going traveilling for the early part of the year and recovering from a foot injury. O'Sullivan was also on his travels earlier in the year, but returned to action in recent challenges matches against Cavan and Roscommon where he impressed.

Cian McBride is the third change from the team that lost the Leinster SFC quarter-final against Dublin as he comes into midfield in place of Daithi McGowan.

With Jordan Morris nursing an injury he drops to the bench, while Ross Ryan will also be a substitute.

Another interesting inclusion among the subs is Conor Gray who returns after being hospitalised with pneumonia earlier in the year.

Brian O'Halloran is back from the under-20s and is named on the bench while recent addition to the panel Sean Ryan from St Peter's is also included on the matchday 26.

The Meath panel to play Louth is - Billy Hogan; Donal Keogan, Adam O’Neill, Ronan Ryan; Harry O’Higgins, Darragh Campion, Sean Coffey; Ronan Jones, Cian McBride; Ciaran Caulfield, Cillian O’Sullivan, Cathal Hickey; James Conlon, Mathew Costello, Eoghan Frayne. Subs - Sean Brennan, Michael Murphy, Sean Ryan, Brian O’Halloran, Ross Ryan, Conor Gray, Daithí McGowan, Ruairí Kinsella, Jack O’Connor, Jordan Morris, Aaron Lynch; stand-by - Keith Curtis, Michael Flood, Sean Rafferty, Jason Scully.
