Robinstown NS joined Sabina Higgins at Áras an Uachtaráin as part of Global Citizenship School Ireland

Two students from Robinstown National School and their teachers joined Sabina Higgins at Áras an Uachtaráin on Thursday for a presentation of the Global Citizenship School 'One Minute Video Project' and a discussion on Global Citizenship.

As a result of the video entry in the 'One Minute Video Project', Robinstown NS were one of only 12 schools from the whole island of Ireland that got to join Sabina Higgins at the presentation.

The two students, Ryan Stanley and Peter Hughes are the 'bin monitors' at the school and check the bins every day to make sure that everyone is recycling correctly.

The children sat in a circle with Sabina and gave her their thoughts on what we can all do to make the world a better place. Sabina was moved at the pride she felt in the children of Ireland and the hope she has for a better world in the future.
