Aontú to run three candidates in Navan

Aontú has selected Jose Cyriac as its third candidate for the Navan area in the upcoming Local Elections.

Jose Cyriac will join Cllr Emer Tóibín and Francis O'Toole on the ballot paper in Navan.

Aontú leader, Peadar Tóibín said; "Jose Cyriac is an exceptional worker and organizer in our community. I am delighted to have three candidates of such high caliber.

"According to our growth in the polls and the significant vote that Aontú received in Navan in the last General Election I believe that we have a great opportunity to win three seats. Aontú is the only party that is listening to the people on a range of different issues.

Jose Cyriac stated: "I am delighted to be nominated by Aontú to seek election to represent Navan on Meath County Council in the forthcoming elections. I am proud Irish citizen,living here for 23 years. Since moving to Navan in 2006 I have had a profound sense of duty to give back to the community that has embraced me.

"I am committed to fostering community engagement and addressing constituents needs, I am driven by a desire to contribute positively to the place I proudly call home.

"I work as a store manager in one Ireland’s leading stores, I bring a wealth of experience in operations and team management. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. As the President of South Indian Community for Meath, facilitating integration and organizing cultural events, I got great opportunities to meet and connect local people together.

"I am the Director of Navan Royal Sports Club which I had the pleasure to create with a team. We provide various sports activities and foster community engagement especially for the Indian community in Meath and organizing community fun days.

"I am an active advocate for community causes, taking part in various campaigns including saving Navan Hospital. The safety of our elderly and families in our community is my top priority. I want to promote economic growth, community engagement, and responsive representation.I want a Navan where every resident feels heard, valued, and supported. Together, we can build a stronger, more community that thrives on collaboration, diversity, and shared prosperity," he said.
