Apple's Jade welcomes new arrival in another career highlight

Superstar mare Apple's Jade has given birth to a colt foal by Blue Bresil.

The French-bred horse was one of the most successful jumping mares of all time.

She achieved success right across the board in her career winning major titles such as the Mares Champion Hurdle (2017), Hatters Grace Hurdle (2016, 2017 and 2018), the Lismullen Hurdle (2017) and the Irish Champion Hurdle (2019) only some of her triumphs.

In April 2021 she give birth to her first foal, a daughter, and the new arrival took it's first steps at Noel and Valerie Moran's Bective Stud in Meath.

The 11-time Grade 1 winner had retired from the track the previous year after a glorious career.

Apple's Jade was trained by Gordon Elliott.
