Three ceremonies took place in the Mahony Hall in The Helix, featuring students from the university’s five faculties; the DCU Business School, the Institute of Education, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Science & Health, and the Faculty of Engineering & Computing.
Almost 1,000 graduates received their parchments on the Friday, 5th April.
Speaking ahead of the first ceremony, Prof Dáire Keogh, President of Dublin City University said: “The graduation ceremony is one of the most important occasions in the DCU calendar.
The conferring of awards provides an opportunity for the University community to focus, with pride, on its very purpose – to educate our young people to the highest standards and to equip them with the skills and attributes required to thrive and contribute positively to our wider society.”
