Mary Keller Ball in Ashbourne to vital raise funds for special charities
A CHARITY ball set up in memory of a brave Rotoath woman who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2008 will take place in Ashbourne later this month for the 11th year.
On 23rd March Ciaran Keller from Ratoath and his family are hosting the 11th Mary Keller Ball in the Pillo Hotel in Ashbourne. The ball is a charity event that was set up in his mother's name as she battled through seven years of breast cancer. The family was lucky enough to have her there for the inaugural ball in 2008, before she lost her long battle later that year.
In year one, they were delighted to raise over €25,000 for the Marie Keating Foundation, so Ciaran took it on himself to carry on the tradition for ten incredible years and raised over €150,000 for the Marie Keating Foundation, St Francis Hospice and the LauraLynn Foundation.
In 2017, he took a well-earned rest, knowing that he, along with the amazing attendees over the years, had raised much needed funds and awareness for these wonderful charities.
This year, after a seven year break, Ciaran has decided to dust off the tuxedo and devote his time to getting the ball rolling again, to raise funds for two new charities dear to his family's hearts - the Mater Hospital Foundation and ALK Positive Lung Cancer UK - after another beautiful family member was diagnosed with this cruel illness.
Ciaran's goal is to make the 11th Mary Keller Ball the most successful yet and there are so many ways you can help -

€500 Table Sponsorship - your business will be advertised throughout the night, while also being the centrepiece on one table. Items are needed for the goody bags - - between 250 and 300 people on the night
