Bulfin names new look side for League opener

Just five players from the team that started the Christy Ring Cup final victory over Derry last June are named in the starting 15 for Sunday's NHL Div 2A opener against Kildare at Pairc Tailteann.

Goalkeeper Charlie Ennis along with James Toher, Nicky Potterton, James Kelly and Simon Ennis all retain their places, while Mickey Burke, Niall McLarnon and Sean Geraghty, who also started that win over Derry, are named on the bench.

Simon Ennis's brother Jarlath Ennis from Rathmolyon will make his NHL debut as will Na Fianna's Ronan Byrne and Ethan Devine and Kilmessan's Kris Gorman.

The experienced Shane Whitty makes a welcome return from injury to weat the number three shirt.

Tom Shine, Sean Martin and James Murray are other relative newcomers on a new-look Meath side.
