Kiltale are in the SHC semi-final.

Kiltale and Donaghmore/Ashbourne secure last four places

Kiltale built on 0-8 to 0-7 interval lead to secure a place in the last four of the SHC when they defeated Kilmessan at Pairc Tailteann this evening.

The winners won in the end, 0-19 to 0-13, with Jack Regan helping himself to 10 points while Philip Garvey, Chris Reilly, and Mark O'Sullivan were just some of the other Kiltale players to score.

In the IHC quarter-final also at the Brews Hill venue, Donaghmore/Ashbourne and Rathmolyon served up a thrilling contest.

Donaghmore/Ashbourne won in the end but only after extra-time. The sides were level 1-17 to 2-14 at the end of normal time but at the conclusion of extra-time Donaghmore/Ashbourne were in front, 2-20 to 1-21. Michael O'Sullivan and Darragh O'Sullivan found the net for the winners.

Between them these two players contributed 1-14 to Donaghmore/Ashbourne's final tally.
