ALDI are also sharing some saving tips ahead of the August Bank Holiday weekend to help shop smarter when doing your weekly food shop:

ALDI don't usually do BOGOF (‘buy one get one free’) deals. If you do see these offers in other shops, weigh up first whether the deal is worth it or if you actually need more than one of the products you’re buying.

All of ALDI’s 160 Irish stores mark down perishable products such as bread, meat and produce by 30% or 75% on their last day of life. This initiative offers customers even lower prices while cutting back on waste. Be sure to keep an eye out for red stickers.

ALDI works closely with its partner Too Good to Go to make surplus food bags available nationwide in a bid to tackle food waste and offer even lower prices to customers. To avail of a Surprise Bag, shoppers can download the free Too Good To Go app and search for their nearby ALDI store before reserving a bag to collect from the store.

ALDI are encouraging customers to buy their products from their award-winning range. By ignoring own brands you might be "missing out on products that are a fraction of the price."

While ALDI might not offer BOGOF deals, you can still sometimes spot Specialbuy discounts on anything from electricals to garden furniture. Keep up to date with current and upcoming Specialbuys by signing up to ALDI’s newsletter.

If you’ve only ever done your shop at one supermarket, you might not realise how much money you could be saving elsewhere. ALDI currently stocks over 1,800 products and works with over 330 Irish suppliers. Providing the very best food and drink offering in terms of quality, price and value is their priority.

This means you could be significantly lowering the cost of your weekly shop without compromising on quality, just by switching supermarkets to ALDI.
