Navan's very own Emma Brogan has secured a place in the Ireland U18 Sevens Squad who are travelling to Prague this weekend for the Rugby Europe 7's Championship.
Navan Ladies Rugby congratulated Emma on social media:
"Congratulations to Emma Brogan. Another super achievement"
Only 4 weeks ago Emma was selected for the Ireland U18 Women's 7's training squad.
Navan Ladies Rugby added: "Emma Brogan is on fire."
The championship team will be led by Head Coach Katie Fitzhenry.
Their opening game is against Poland on Saturday morning at 8:44am, followed by playing England at 1:28pm.
Many of the squad impressed in the recent Girls U18 Sevens Interprovincial Series, while the success of the Ireland Women’s Sevens in qualifying for the Paris Olympics has been a major inspiration for the next generation.
