Meath hoping for Model performance
Meath will take on Wexford next Saturday in the quarter-final of the Tailteann Cup it was confirmed this morning.
After their victory over Down at Parnell Park, Colm O'Rourke's side was assured a home draw and there is sure to be a sizeable crowd in attendance at Pairc Tailteann next weekend to see the Royals take on the Model County.
Meath will be looking for their fourth successive victory in the competition. The have have already accounted for Tipperary (1-19 to 0-11), Waterford (3-17 to 1-14) and Down (1-11 to 1-9).
The Wexford games gives Meath a real opportunity to secure a place in the last four and they will be favourites going into that game.
The Model County have experienced some mixed fortunes in the competition so far. They drew with Fermanagh (1-13 all), defeated Leitrim 1-16 to 1-12 and Offaly 1-22 to 2-14 but lost to Antrim 0-14 to 2-15.

Antrim v Carlow;
Meath v Wexford;
Limerick v Laois;
Cavan v Down.
