Meath Chamber's Apprenticeship Expo shortlisted for national award

The Apprenticeship Expo that showcases hundreds of Earn ‘n’ Learn opportunities in Meath and run by County Meath Chamber has been shortlisted for an Irish Chambers Award in the ‘Best Partnership For Business’ category.

The Apprenticeship Expo is organised and managed by County Meath Chamber with huge support from a host of local and national employers, The Regional Skills Training Centre Dundalk, LMETB, Meath County Council, New Boliden Tara Mines, INTREO, Regional Skills Mid East, Nort East & Dublin, SOLAS, ETB Ireland & many, many more.

"The support that we get locally cannot be underestimated and gives us the confidence to bring an event of such magnitude to Co. Meath and beyond. The Apprenticeship Expo is a fine example of what can be achieved when we all pull together," said Paula McCaul, CEO County Meath Chamber.

Over 4,000 people attended the Apprenticeship Expo in 2023. With 90 exhibitors on the day representing all 66 apprenticeship programmes currently on offer through Generation Apprenticeship (SOLAS). Employers, apprenticeship programme managers, education providers and current apprentices were on hand to chat to interested candidates. We had Interactive Displays & Demonstrations, Hourly Speaker Sessions, Career Advice, CV Clinics and more. The Apprenticeship Expo attracts students, employees, job seekers and switchers, parents, teachers, career guidance advisors etc from Meath, Louth, Dublin, Cavan, Monaghan, Kildare, Westmeath and further afield. County Meath Chambers’ Expo is proving year on year to be the place to go to talk about all things Apprenticeships!
