Are you interested in a unique summer run or jog around the historical sites of Bru na Boinne?

The Bru na Boinne 5K can offer runners, joggers, walkers and spectators the opportunity to take part in a run in beautiful surroundings on Friday 9th June.

The Bru na Boinne 5K is open to all runners. This is a chip timed event, in an historical route that takes you around the heritage ground at Bru Na Boinne crossing the beautiful river Boyne towards one of the most visited historical sights Newgrange in nice quiet country roads.

The entry fee in only €15, this event is limited to 400 runners so book early!

All finishers will receive a commissioned Bru Na Boinne 5K medal to celebrate their achievement with some refreshments in the St Mary’s community hall.

"We are delighted to bring you this a unique running event around the historical countryside of Bru na Boinne, running along the World Heritage sites steeped in history in beautiful country side of the Boyne, we are thankful to the OPW and our title sponsor Envirogreen for allowing this to happen, I have been involved in many runs nationwide but this is so different compared to anything else in Ireland, Europe or the World," said race director Ken Brien.
