‘Another Love Story’ reveals line-up for Killyon Manor

Boutique festival 'Another Love Story' has announced a carefully selected collection of artists to grace Killyon Manor from 18th to 20th August next.

Coming on top of the already announced collection of UK electronic maverick James Holden, Peruvian producer Sofia Kourtesis, Irish treasure Martin Hayes, UK trombonist Theon Cross, the ever rising Rachael Lavelle with Glasshouse, UK online radio star Charlie Bones, and Irish-Saudi DJ and producer Moving Still, Another Love Story have unveiled a further comprehensive selection of Irish and international artists who will grace the festival’s intimate stages in August 2023 - led by explosive and vibrant UK jazz superstars The Comet Is Coming, followed by Kilcloon's Lisa Hannigan, who recently performed for US President, Joe Biden, on his visit to Ireland.

ALS continue their love affair with incredible Irish talent, by welcoming back Sorcha Richardson, and another long awaited performance from Caoimhin O’Raghallaigh alongside his current sparring partner Dan Trueman (US). Keeping the international flavour alive, the amazing Icelandic art folk singer JFDR returns, plus a first Irish show from free form jazz groove merchants Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange (AUS).

Hot on their heels come Cork’s Elaine Howley, Dublin’s Sean Carpio, Kilkenny’s one man drum machine RSA and the two drum kit wielding forces of nature Thumper. With ALS keeping their eyes on future sounds, they welcome Limerick’s finest God Knows for his ALS bow, and the epic fast rising outfits Moondiver and Negro Impacto, alongside a slew of first ALS performances from electronic duo The Cope, nu soul outfit Papa Romeo, West Cork folk duo Las Salamandas, west of Ireland goodness from Trá Pháidín, and emerging indie darling Neil Dexter.

ALS welcomes back some old friends such as beautiful classical guitarist Chequerboard, and perennial ALS favourite and crew lynchpin Simon Cullen with an incredibly special live performance of his MXXM project. Keeping things on a live electronic trip - David Kitt’s New Jackson project arrives with some new material in tow, Carlow’s very own Frankie Knuckles Eddie Renolds AKA TR-One also brings the heat, alongside further live sets from Ordnance Survey, Cork’s Toby Kaar, and Dublin acts Soft Stone, and Plus One.

Rounding out the Live programme with some much needed fun are ALS spirit animals Attention Bebe, and brilliantly titled Cork moonshine soaked country supergroup Moonshine Gladback.

With the introduction of new electronic flavoured haunt Tree Haus and the expansion of the famous Shift Shack into the now infamous Shift Yard last year, ALS build upon their very solid party foundations, and present a hugely exciting programme of DJs to keep the party rolling throughout the weekend featuring Wicklow’s world conquering star Mano Le Tough, Charlie Bones and his musical accomplice OG, as well as NTS presenter and past Berghain resident Prosumer. Donal Dineen’s Backstory, a very special appearance of from rising RTE star Oisin Leech (Caravan Radio), a bow from fellow radio voice Peter Curtain (2XM & Lyric FM), and a return to ALS for celebrated party starters LUMO Djs, as well as a first appearance from Sinead Queen of Rushes.

All of these artists are set to perform across the rolling meadows and cosy corners of Killyon Manor where live acts and DJs alike will return to favourite stages Further Afield, The Front, Tree Haus, Shift Yard, Way Out There, and Moon River.
