Extension, refurbishment and new classrooms for St Pat's Navan given green light

An extension, refurbishment and new classrooms for St Patrick’s Classical School in Navan has been approved by Education Minister, Norma Foley.

This major investment in the school will consist of six new mainstream classrooms, a new science laboratory, a science preparation area, a home economics room, textile room, a technology room, a technology preparation area, a new technical graphics area and student and staff toilets.

“This is fantastic news for St Patrick's Classical School in Navan with confirmation from Minister Norma Foley of additional new classroom accommodation for the school,” said Senator Shane Cassells.

“This is wonderful news for Navan. Well done to the board of management, staff, and students on a great news day for the school.

“I have been working with the school management over the last number of years to get further investment in the school for these much-needed facilities.

“These new classrooms will expand with a range of subjects which the school can offer their students and allow students and teachers to learn in a modern high quality educational campus.

“I want to thank Minister Foley for allocating this funding to St Pat’s and for her continued investment in a range of school building projects across the town of Navan,” concluded Senator Cassells.
