Garda appeal for information on Rathbeggan hit and run

The Gardai are appealing for information on an accident at Rathbeggan close to Dunshaughlin last Saturday in which a cyclist was injured.

At around 5.10am on Saturday 28th January, a male cyclist was travelling towards Dublin opposite Rathbeggan National School where he was struck by an vehicle that failed to remain at the scene.

The cyclist was subsequently treated in hospital for minor injuries.

Gardaí are now seeking witnesses and/or dashcam footage from anyone that travelled in the Rathbeggan area between 4.30am and 5.30am on Saturday to contact Dunshaughlin Garda Station on 01-8258600 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
