Probationer gardaí allocated to Meath stations

Three probationer gardaí will be allocated to Meath Garda stations later this month, according to Chief Supt John Dollard.

"It is anticipated that as larger numbers of new recruits become available from the most recent recruitment campaign, Meath will see additional numbers of probationer gardaí allocated to stations from the middle of the year onwards."

"Regarding Garda workforce planning, the Meath Division is working closely with internal Garda partners to increase the number of Garda members in the Meath division as new gardaí are allocated in 2023 and beyond."

He said that the allocation of the three probationer gardaí while small, represented the highest number of Garda members allocated to any Garda division from this small intake from the last recruitment competition.
