Navan in top 3 best places to work from home in Ireland in 2022

A new study has revealed that Navan is the third best place to work from home in 2022.

The research was carried out by Switcher.ie ahead of new legislation which gives employees the right to request remote work expected by the end of the year.

With 91% planning to work fully remote or hybrid, Ireland’s towns and local economies could also enjoy the benefits of an increasingly mobile workforce.

Alongside house prices and crime rate, the research compared broadband speeds and 5G mobile coverage, access to green spaces, fitness and leisure centres, cafes and food delivery services, as well as health centres, GP surgeries and top schools.

The findings stated that:

"Popular commuter town Navan in the Boyne Valley is well served by fibre broadband, 5G mobile and transport networks. It also offers a wide choice of shops, housing and leisure options to suit all budgets.

"Whether you’re popping out for a quick bite or planning a cosy night in, Navan offers an abundance of takeaways and cafes for busy, working families."

Castlebar in Co, Mayo came in at number one in the report with Lexlip in Co Kildare landed at number two.
