Morans become sponsors of Meath GAA for a two-year term

Noel and Valerie Moran are the new main sponsors for Meath senior football team for the next two years it has has been announced.

They will replace Devenish Nutrition which have been Meath GAA's main sponsors for the past six years.

The Morans are currently the sponsors of the Meath underage football academies, minor and u-20 football teams. The well-known business couple, who are also owners of a stable of racehorses, will be sponsoring the senior team under the 'Bective Stud, Tea Rooms and Apartments' title.

"We were delighted to evolve our partnership with Bective Stud, Tea Rooms and Apartments and to invest in the future of our county teams," the Meath GAA statement read.

"Noel and Valerie have been wonderful sponsors of our underage teams and it is superb news for Meath supporters that two of our own will be main sponsors," added John Kavanagh, the chairman of the Meath Co Board. "Thank you to Owen and Alice Brennan of Devenish Nutrition who sponsored Meath GAA for six years."

The Bective Stud complex was set up in 2016 and has been developed over the last four years. Alongside a successful racing stud of over fifty horses the complex also includes new tea rooms with a scenic country walk. A new hotel is planned on-site and is expected to be built in the new future.

Noel Moran outlined how becoming sponsor is the fulfilment of a cherished ambition.

"As a long-time supporter of Bective GAA club and Meath GAA, it is a dream come true to be the main county sponsor. Being part of the underage project initially builds nicely into getting involved at the senior level. I wish Colm O'Rourke and his management team all the best in the new year," he said.
