Appeal for missing Navan man on tonight's Crimecall

An appeal for information on the whereabouts of 43-year-old Mark Duffy from Navan, who has been missing since 3rd October will feature on Crimecall tonight.

Airing on RTE1 at 9.35pm, on tonight's episode Mark’s sister, Leia, speaks about the father-of-two and his disappearance. “He’s just a brilliant big brother. I can always ring him if there’s anything wrong. Mark is always there."

Mark has now been missing for six weeks. He is described as 5’8” in height and of broad build with brown hair and blue eyes. Mark’s last known movements were captured on CCTV in the Commons Road area of Navan town. Searches of the surrounding area and the River Boyne have been conducted by An Garda Síochána and the Civil Defence.

An extensive investigation has already taken place through media appeals and enquiries with friends, family, and the wider community. Crimecall is appealing to anyone who may have seen Mark for their assistance.

The family has had no contact and are appealing to the public for their help. “If anybody out there knows anything, if you’ve seen Mark, even if you think you’ve seen him, however small you think that may be, please, please just tell us. We just really want him home,” says Leia.

Anyone with information on Mark’s whereabouts is asked to contact Gardaí in Navan on 046 903 6100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
