Parkvilla youngsters can look back on a wonderful campaign

What a season it turned out to be for the Parkvilla u-12s in the North Eastern Counties Schoolboys/Girls League.

The talented youngsters not only won the Premier league title in their age group they followed it up with cup success too.

It was double delight for the 'Villa as they picked up victory after victory producing some scintillating football along the way under coaches Alan Garnett, Tony Geoghegan, Tony St Leger, Andy Behan, John Clarke and Adam Mullarkey.

The commitment of the players throughout the season to training and playing added to the guidance provided by the management team proved to be a powerful combination. Some victories were achieved with relative ease some dug out the hard way.

The skill of the young players was another major aspect of a season all concerned will remember for a long time to come.
