Ratoath and Summerhill get ready to do battle in final
And then there were two. Ratoath and Summerhill will face each other in this year's SFC final after they won their respective semi-finals at Pairc Tailteann today.
A crowd of around 3,000 showed up for the games but neither contest failed to fire the imagination of the supporters.
Both games were low wattage affairs as the eventual winners took a grip on proceedings and marched to comfortable victories.
In the curtain raiser at the Brews Hill venue Summerhill had a 1-10 to 0-5 win over an Wolfe Tones that failed to sparkle.
Conor Frayne netted the only goal of the game while Conor Lyons hit three points.
The second match was no classic either with Ratoath running out comfortable winners on a 3-11 to 0-9 scoreline.
Na Fianna started well but Ratoath soon started to get a grip on the game and they powered away to secure their big win with the help of goals from Cian Rogers, Bobby O'Brien and Bryan McMahon.
