Parkceltic Summerhill youngsters show the way

Playing fast, high-tempo football the Parkceltic Summerhill players achieved success in the recent Athboy Celtic u-10s Minis Soccer Tournament staged in the Athboy Community Park.

The Parkceltic Summerhill team were in red-hot form winning all five games played and no goals conceded with goalkeeper Michael McGee putting in consistent, admirable displays - as did the rest of his team-mates.

Jamie Reilly , Copper Lyons and Evan Reynolds were among the top goalscorers at the tournament helping the team coached by Marcus Fagan and Graham Reynolds to victory.

While a very wet day the boys really enjoyed it as indicated by the photos above!! \

The tournament contained eight teams split into groups of four who all played each other.

The Parkceltic teams showed the defensive fortitude and attacking verve of true champions.
