Miss Meath Aine Duff won the Beauty with a Purpose sash at last weekend's Miss Ireland competition

Local finalists awarded honours at Miss Ireland Final

Miss Meath Aine Duff (25) from Drumconrath and Miss Navan Anna Clarke (24) from Navan were both awarded honours at the 75th Miss Ireland final last weekend.

The final took place on Saturday 20th August at a spectacular Diamond Jubilee Ceremony at The Royal Theatre Castlebar where Miss Meath Aine Duff won the Beauty with a Purpose sash for her charity work with the Womens Refuge as well as the People's Choice sash for receiving the most votes on the Miss Ireland App, while Miss Navan Anna Clarke scooped the sash for best Social Media.

Miss Meath Aine Duff is daughter of EU Commissioner for Financial Services Mairead McGuinness and sister of Meath All-Ireland winning footballer Orlaith Duff.

Aine works remotely as an account associate for a Global Employer of Records company. Aine graduated in 2019 from University College Dublin with a degree in Modern Languages, Spanish and Italian. Aine has a passion for fashion and has completed styling and personal shopping courses in the Dublin Institute of Design. She combines her work with her love for fashion.

Miss Navan Anna Clarke was born in China and adopted into an Irish family from the age of one. Currently living in Navan, Anna works as an in-person PT and Online Fitness Coach. She graduated from UCD last year where she studied a BSc in Sports and Exercise Management. She’s enthusiastic about helping ambitious, career-driven women, step into their unstoppable confidence both in and out of the gym.

Doctor Ivanna McMahon from Ennis in Co Clare was thrilled to be crowned the 75th Miss Ireland, sponsored by TanOrganic.

The over-riding theme this year for Miss Ireland, was ‘Our World Our Future’ with a focus on the environment and global citizenship.
