Death of Mary Swan of Curraha public house

Curraha, Skryne and surrounds are in mourning following the death on Monday of Mary Swan, of the landmark public house, Swans of Curraha.

Formerly of High Street, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim, Mary (nee Smith) died peacefully at her home, Curraha House, after an illness.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Patsy; their family, Richard, Jeannie, Patrick, Catherine and Shane; son-in-law, Nick Storey, daughters-in-law, Deirdre and Paula; grandchildren, Rachel, Lillian, JP, Polly, Robin, Sofia and Rowan; brothers, sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and her large circle of friends.

Mary will be reposing at Swan's, Curraha, this Wednesday evening from 5pm until 8pm, with removal to St Andrew's Church, Curraha, on Thursday morning, for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
