Summerhill prove too strong for the Bracks
With two wins from two Summerhill are looking good in the SFC and they proved too strong for Ballinabrackey at Clonard this evening, 1-11 to 0-8.
It took some time for Conor Gillespie's side to find a way to convert chances into scores but once they did there was no stopping them.
They trailed by 0-1 to 0-2 after 15 minutes but they were ahead 0-5 to 0-2 at the interval.
They really took a grip on the game on 40 minutes when they were awarded a penalty. Diarmuid McCabe stepped up and swept the ball expertly past Dean Pluck.
David Larkin had a fine game for the 'Hill scoring four super points from play.
Ballinabrackey were hit a further blow when Nicky Judge was shown a red card by referee Keith Sheerin on 51 minutes.
Damien Carroll topscored for the Bracks but they struggled to break through the Summerhill defensive cover.
