Good luck to Maire, Aoibhin and all the Meath Ladies in the final. We can’t wait! Chloe and Ciara Garrigan, Donaghmore Ashbourne.

Fans fired up for the final!

The Meath Ladies will (fingers crossed) be bringing the Brendan Martin Cup home to Navan on Monday.

Officials from Meath LGFA and Meath Co Council have confirmed that the defending All-Ireland Champions will meet their fans on the Fairgreen at 3pm win or lose the final against Kerry on Sunday afternoon.

Eamon Murray's squad enjoyed an amazing homecoming last year after an epic Croke Park victory over Dublin when 2,500 fans flocked to the Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim to welcome home their champions. Now the squad are looking to make it back-to-back titles and make sure that as many fans as possible get to see their heroes.

It’s hoped that up to 40,000 fans will attend this Sunday's showpiece at GAA HQ and ahead of an epic weekend Royals fans have been busy sending the team their messages of support. See more online at meathchronicle.ie
