Oisin Leech brings his caravan of music to RTE Radio

Nine week series starts tonight (Wednesday)

Navan songwriter and musician, Oisin Leech, will host a new series called 'Caravan Radio' on RTE Radio 1 at 10pm starting tonight, Wednesday 13th July.

The show will feature music from across all the genres as the caravan moves around from place to place and from theme to theme for each episode. Wherever the caravan lands, that’s where will music will take the listener. The first show will feature some songs inspired by Wednesday night’s full moon.

Leech, who will present the show and introduce the music, has collaborated over the years with the likes of Paul Muldoon, M Ward and Arctic Monkeys. He is one half of Irish duo The Lost Brothers, with Mark mcCausland, whose most recent album was described by The Guardian as “sublime” and by The Irish Times as “deeply soulful”.

He has performed internationally at festivals like Glastonbury and SXSW and continues to write and perform. Each winter the band performs locally at The Solstice Arts Centre in Navan for a special homecoming. Leech also runs Joey Procida's Folk Club , a night of music and poetry, which has hosted acts such as Villagers, Lisa O’Neill and Andy Irvine.
