Open Day at Trim Garda Station

A great family day out is promised at the Trim Garda Station Open Day which takes place on Saturday, 16th July between 12 noon and 3pm.

This popular family event last took place in 2019, having been cancelled for the past two years because of the pandemic.

There will be displays from local and national Garda units with the Mounted Unit, the Dog Unit, the Roads Policing Unit and Community Policing Units all in attendance.

Tours of the station will be given and there will be live music provided by the Garda Band.

Meath River Rescue, Meath Civil Defence and the local fire service will also be there.

The Road Safety Authority will have its Shuttle Bus and Roll Over Simulator.

"This is a fun filled family day out for all. All are welcome to come along.

It is a great opportunity for everyone to engage with our emergency services," said Superintendent Martina Noonan.
