A toddle across Tara in aid of Barnados

Over 20 toddlers took to The Hill of Tara to take part in Barnardos Big Toddle l, a fun half-mile sponsored walk for crèche and pre-school aged children.

This is the fifth year the children from Réiltíní at Gaelscoil Na Mí in Ashbourne have taken part in the children’s charity 19th annual Big Toddle. Over 1,000 toddlers across County Meath took part part, that’s over 500 miles.

The theme this year celebrated the Big Toddle’s Little Heroes - Ireland’s youngest fundraisers who help vulnerable children their own age by completing a fun half-mile sponsored walk in their creche, childcare group, pre-school and with their families. Over the last 19 years these Little Heroes have toddled more than 300,000 miles and raised €4.2 million in support of Barnardos Early Years Services.
