Air quality sensors to be installed in a number of locations in Trim

Meath County Council has signed the contract for the Trim Air Quality Project with Trilateral Research.

Air quality sensors will be installed in a number of locations in Trim, with a dashboard subsequently being made available for the general public to view real-time data from the sensors.

This project will assist Meath County Council to monitor and improve air quality if required and help raise awareness of the importance of air quality. The Council also hopes to add additional social impact by including school children in the project.

Going forward, the air quality data collected will inform the provision of sustainable solutions to improve air quality and reduce emissions within Trim and inform the community of the air quality in Trim town.
