Jones could feature against Down on Sunday

Ronan Jones is named on the Meath panel for the first time this season for Sunday's crucial NFL Div 2 clash with Down in Pairc Tailteann.

However there is no place in the matchday 26 for recent call-ups from Trim, James Toher and Luke Moran.

Manager Andy McEntee has also included Jordan Morris, who recently completed his transfer from Nobber to Kingscourt Stars, in the panel, Shane Walsh and Cathal Hickey return to the starting line-up after missing the Roscommon defeat due to Covid.

McEntee has made five changes to the team that lost to Roscommon with Cillian O'Sullivan, Bryan McMahon and James Conlon also returning to the starting 15, with Jason Scully, Gavin McGowan, Thomas O'Reilly and Saran O Fionnagain joining Morris on the bench.
