Three people killed in horror road collision

Two women and a man, all in their 20s, have died after a horror crash in Meath.

Kells Gardaí are investigating the two car fatal traffic collision on the N52, Lloyd, Kells, which occurred yesterday, 31st December shortly after 4pm

According to Gardai, a female in her 20s, the driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.

"Her passenger, a man in his 20s was treated at scene before being brought to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown, where he died en route.

"A female in her 20s, the driver of the second car was brought to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown to be treated for her injuries where she later died.

"Her passengers, three juveniles, were brought to Our Lady of Lourdes Drogheda, to be treated for their injuries. One has since been transferred to CHI Temple Street.

Gardaí have completed a forensic examination of the scene, investigations are ongoing.
