Dog rescue ready to rehome dog nursed back to health after being found 'in an awful state' in a shed

A DOG Rescue in Ballivor has posted a heartwarming update about a dog it took into its care having been found in a shed with a raft of fresh and old wounds including a gashed ear.

Coolronan Dog Rescue owners Chris Kelly and Ramona Cunningham described Shambo as the "gentlest soul you will ever meet"

According to Ramona: "Shambo came into us a while back in an awful state she had been found straying and hiding in a shed in Westmeath.

"Shambo was chipped to a breeder up the north who had sold her as a pup but no details to who though.

"She had an awful gash on the side of her head that required vet treatment straight away, she has scars all down her back and was bred stupid.

"You will see from the video how scared and submissive she was on her first day but thankfully everyday she got better and I can honestly say this girl is the gentlest soul you will ever meet will be up for rehoming very soon and there will be lot of tears the day she leaves here."
