Curtis features as Ireland beat Mexico

Sam Curtis from Navan featured for the Republic of Ireland u-17s this evening in the first of two friendly games against Mexico at Truner's Cross in Cork where the Irish won 2-1.

Curtis started playing at under-age level with Navan club Parkvilla before moving to St Kevin's Boys and then to Shamrock Rovers before a move to St Pat's two months ago.

This evening in Cork, second-half goals from Cork City duo Franco Umeh and Mark O’Mahony secured the Republic of Ireland an impressive 2-1 win against a talented Mexico side.
