Colin Keane's 100th winner of the season at Navan

Champion jockey Colin Keane made it 100 winners for the season at Navan this afternoon when winning with the Ger Lyons-trained newcomer Barretta.

There was a Meath flavour to the finish as the Sheila Lavery-trained Moracana with Robbie Colgan on board took the runner-up berth.

To hit 100 in a full season is hard enough, so to do it so quickly is unbelievable really," commented the Trim man.

"It makes it that little bit extra special that it's for Ger and it means he's only one off 1,000 winners," he added.
