Sarah Lynam at Bellewstown on Wednesday

First Curragh winner for Sarah Lynam

From finishing fourth in the ladies flat race at Bellewstown on Wednesday evening to training her first winner at the Curragh this evening it has been a hectic few days for Sarah Lynam.

Based near Dunshaughlin, her partner at Bellewstown was The Dude Abides which was running for the first time in almost a year.

This evening it was Goodnight Girl which duly stormed home in a six-furlong handicap for jockey Mikey Sheehy

“She’s been running well here and it’s a first winner for my uncle John, that’s my first winner at the Curragh so it’s very satisfying,” she commented to irishracing.com

COLIN KEANE

Maintaining a Meath theme at the Kildare track was trainer Ger Lyons and champion jockey Colin Keane who were in double form.

The two winners puts the champion jockey on 99 winners for the season and it's possible that qinner 100 could be achieved at Navan tomorrow.
