Emphatic win for Dunboyne
Dunboyne recorded an emphatic 4-20 to 2-6 SFC Group D victory against Seneschalstown at Skryne this evening.
Referee for the game was Barry Tierney from the O'Dwyer's club in Balbriggan.
This was really all one-way traffic as Dunboyne dictated from the start and were ahead by 3-10 to 2-3 at the interval.
The pattern was similar in the second-half with Dunboyne adding another 1-10 and conceding a miserly three points.
Donal Lenihan scored 10 points for Dunboyne and the goals arrived form Cathal Lacey (two), Shane McEntee and Ronan Jones.
Top scorer for Seneschalstown was Cathal Finnegan with 1-3, but he had to leave the action in the second-half following a challenge for which Dunboyne's Sean Ryan picked up a yellow card.
This was a much-improved display from Dunboyne in comparison to the first round draw that they managed against Skryne with a late point (0-10 each)
