Mickey Newman returns to the Meath side for Sunday's Leinster SFC clash with Longford

Three changes for Meath ahead of Longford test

Andy McEntee's starting 15 for the first Leinster SFC game of his fifth year in charge sees three changes from the side that lost to Kildare in the NFL Div 2 promotion play-off two weeks ago.

With Conor McGill suspended and Donal Keogan and Bryan Menton only fit enough to make the bench, McEntee has drafted in Ronan Ryan, Eoin Harkin and Michael Newman.

Summerhill's Ryan will fill the full-back role with Harkin to corner-back and Cathal Hickey filling in for Keogan.

Menton's midfield berth will be filled by Ethan Devine with Newman returning to the starting 15 for the first time in two years.

Newman's inclusion will see Cillian O'Sullivan line out at wing-forward, while Thomas O'Reilly retains his position in the full-forward line despite being taken off at half-time of that loss to Kildare.
