James Finnerty set for Euro tie at Aviva

Skryne man James Finnerty could be running out at the Aviva Stadium next month for a UEFA Europa Conference League game with Dublin club Bohemian FC.

Finnerty is a key member of the Bohemian FC squad along with Ashbourne man Dawson Devoy and they could both feature for the Dublin club in the first qualifying round tie against Stjarnan FC of Iceland.

The first leg of that tie will be played in Iceland on Thursday 8th July - the second leg will take place a week later at the Aviva insetad of Dalymount.

The Football Association of Ireland and Bohemian FC confirmed today that the second leg of the club’s UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round tie with Stjarnan FC of Iceland will take place at the Aviva Stadium on Thursday 15th July with a 7.45pm kick-off.

That will be good news for the large number of Bohemian FC supporters from Meath who would welcome the chance to see the game live.
