Bracks edged out by the Tones

Ballinabrackey travelled down to Kilberry this evening for round 3 of the Feis Cup against Wolfe Tones and lost out by 0-7 to 2-6 WRITES LISA KENNEDY.

Wolfe Tones had a goal in the first 3 minutes of the game with a quick point soon after.

Ballinabrackey got their first score on the board with a point from Danny Quinn.

Wolfe Tones got three more points leaving the first water break score as 1:03 to 0:01.

Wolfe Tones came back out with the scores flying with two more points and another goal.

Wolfe Tones dominated the first half of this match but Seamus Curry got a point from play just before half time leaving the half time score as Wolfe Tones 2:05 to Ballinabrackey’s 0:02.

Ballinabrackey came out in the second half and got the scores on the board straight away with a point from play from Danny Quinn and a point from a free and from play from Seamus Curry.

Ballinabrackey dominated the last quarter with points from frees from Seamus Curry and David Carroll that pushed the Bracks on closer to the home side.

Wolfe Tones got the last score to win by five points
