Navan hockey club summer camp in July

Navan Hockey Club has bounced back after Covid pulled the shutters mid-season in 2020.

The juvenile section is thriving and the boys and girls have brought new life to the club in their perseverance to keep training even when restricted to pods.

The club now looks forward to the summer camp in July where new and old players can stay active and have some much-needed fun after a hard year.

Meanwhile for the adults, social hockey is taking off every Tuesday evening in St Joseph’s Mercy.

It’s a great chance for the adult teams to get back to it as well as giving new players a chance to try the sport and socialise before the new season kicks off in September.

The new season in September will see the senior men and women’s teams, secondary school boys and girls’ teams, and fifth/sixth class teams entering into the Leinster League competitions.
