Meade's hybrid fully-charged

The Noel Meade-trained Sheishybrid was fully-charged to get the distance in front today at Down Royal when winning with champion jockey Colin Keane on board.

Third at Sligo a fortnight ago, this time the Meade-trained three-year-old got her head in front in impressive style in a mile-and-a-half handicap.

"There will be plenty of races for her. She'll go for another handicap and we'll see how we go and we'll see what the handicapper does," commented the winning trainer post-race to irishracing.com

It was a fifth winner in June for the champions jockey who was on the mark at Leopardstown yesterday for Ger Lyons with Juncture.

There was also a double at the Curragh on Wednesday and a winner at Tipperary on Tuesday last.
