Readers' Photos: Never let a good thunderstorm go to waste

There was one one hell of a thunderstorm over Meath yesterday bringing with it a deluge of rain and no shortage of lightning.

Met Eireann had issued a thunderstorm warning for nine counties as unsettled weather continues across the country.

And their predictions were spot on as skies turned black yesterday afternoon before dumping serious rainfall to the backdrop of a spectacular thunder and lightning show

As the sun re-emerged, so to did the rainbows and readers were quick to capture their glory. Dunshaughlin seemed a very popular spot to capture one of nature special treats.
